Beginners – Introduction to live edge woodworking

Start Date: September 25th 6pm-8pm (weekday evening class) runs for 3 consecutive weeks
Start Date: September 29th 10am-12pm (weekend morning class) runs for 3 consecutive weeks
Start Date: October 30th 6pm-8pm (weekday evening class) runs for 3 consecutive weeks
Start Date: November 3rd 10am-12pm (weekend morning class) runs for 3 consecutive weeks

Cost: $350 / 3 classes = 6 hours of class time

Fee includes – Osmo Topoil (food safe), Application Pad, Wood, and usage of all necessary tools and products to complete the project.
This class will teach participants the basics of live edge woodworking. Each person will select a piece of wood from our woodmarket and through a 3 class package, complete a charcuterie platter. All participants will have tools required to complete their projects provided for them.

Beginners – Specialty (Epoxy – small pours and repairs)

Start Date: October 3rd 6pm-8pm (weekday evening class) runs for 4 consecutive weeks
Start Date: October 6th 1pm-3pm (weekend afternoon class) runs for 4 consecutive weeks

Cost: $350 / 4 classes = 6 hours of class time (classes 2 and 4 will be 1 hour in length)

Fee includes – Ecopoxy 500ml UVpoxy kit, Measuring container, Wood, and usage of all necessary tools and products to complete the project.
This class is going to teach participants the basics of epoxy pouring and finishing. We will select a piece of wood from our woodmarket that requires epoxy work and using the selected piece, learn all the skills required to measure, mix, pour and finish. Attendees will have an opportunity to try some of our colour pigments and metal flakes to customize their epoxy work.

Beginners – Specialty (Epoxy – casting/large pours)

Start Date: November 3rd 1pm-3pm (weekend afternoon class) runs for 4 consecutive weeks

Cost: $500 / 4 classes = 8 hours of class time

Fee includes – Ecopoxy 6 L liquid plastic kit, measuring container, wood, and usage of all necessary tools and products to complete the project.
This class is a starting point for anyone wanting to learn how to complete large single pour resin creations. An example of this could be a small river table. Participants will learn the proper way to prepare for these types of projects right up finishing stages.
